T-Mobile will let replacement Galaxy Note 7 owners swap their phone for a different device

Following the news that a replacement Galaxy Note 7 may have overheated on an airplane, T-Mobile has announced that owners of these devices can exchange them if they’d like. T-Mobile’s been having bad luck with outages lately, getting hit with a couple service interruptions at the end of September and then a brief calling outage earlier this week. New report says T-Mobile is best in US network quality and performance

Twin Prime, a firm focused on “mobile performance and app acceleration,” recently released a report on the state of mobile performance in the US, and T-Mobile fared pretty well. In its report, Twin Prime found that T-Mobile has the best network quality and performance, offering the fastest speeds on both LTE and 3G networks. Walmart Family Mobile launched as a prepaid mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) using T-Mobile’s network way back in 2010. Now, six years later, it’s got a new owner. As expected, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is once again available from T-Mobile. The Note 7 has reappeared in T-Mobile’s online store, complete with a note confirming that these the safe, non-recalled units.
