A new report claims that T-Mobile is closing a large number of Metro by T-Mobile stores. According to the National Wireless Independent Dealer Association, T-Mobile has sent 120-day termination letters to anywhere between 5-15% of Metro by T-Mobile stores owned by large dealers, stores near the end of their lease, and stores that are low performers. Just a few days after the T-Mobile version of the OnePlus 6T got a new software update, T-Mo has begun updated a couple other OnePlus phones. Tubi app will be preloaded on LG phones at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile

T-Mobile teamed up with Quibi to offer free streaming subscriptions to T-Mo customers, but that’s not the only streaming service that T-Mobile is working with this month. T-Mobile won’t charge late fees or disconnect customers affected by COVID-19 through June 30

Around a month and a half ago, T-Mobile announced that it was taking the FCC’s Keep Americans Connected pledge, which meant that for 60 days it would not charge late fees or terminate service for any customers unable to pay their bill due to the coronavirus. When the merger of T-Mobile and Sprint was complete, John Legere stepped down as CEO but said that he’d stay on as a member of T-Mo’s board of directors through June 4th.
