T-Mobile made some big news today by officially launching its nationwide 5G coverage, and the good news for folks on Metro by T-Mobile is that they’re getting access to the network as well. T-Mobile launches its nationwide 5G network

T-Mobile previously said that its nationwide 5G coverage would go live on December 6th, but it looks like T-Mo just couldn’t wait until then to flip the switch. Yesterday T-Mobile announced that it would launch the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition, its second phone with support for 600MHz 5G. Now it’s been confirmed that those two phones will work on the merged T-Mobile-Sprint network if that deal goes through.
