New Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G and OnePlus 8 5G updates released by T-Mobile

After updating the Samsung Galaxy S20 phones over the weekend, T-Mobile’s got a couple more software updates going out today. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G is being updated to version N976USQS3CTI8. T-Mobile Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra receiving new security update

Samsung Galaxy S20 owners are getting another new update from T-Mobile today. T-Mo is now pushing updates to the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra. The S20’s update is version G981USQU1BTJ4, the S20+’s is G986USQU1BTJ4, and the S20 Ultra’s is version G988USQU1BTJ4. The only item on the changelog is the October 1, 2020 security patches. OnePlus 8T design shown ahead of next week’s launch event

The OnePlus 8T will be officially announced on October 14, but before then, OnePlus has gone ahead and shown off the design of its upcoming smartphone. Today OnePlus posted a teaser video that shows the backside of the OnePlus 8T in a color called Aquamarine Green. T-Mobile recently expanded its 2.5GHz 5G coverage to more than 120 additional cities, but that’s not all that T-Mo is doing to improve the 5G experience for its customers. Earlier today, T-Mobile began pushing the One UI 2.5 update to its Galaxy S10 devices. Now some more Samsung phones are getting that update. T-Mobile’s OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren receiving update with standalone 5G support

Another T-Mobile phone is now being updated to support standalone 5G. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is receiving an update to version 10.0.39.HD61CB. This 190MB update brings support for T-Mobile standalone 5G, which launched last month and increased T-Mo’s overall 5G coverage by 30 percent.
