blackberry-onyx1

While this isn’t the first time we’ve gotten wind of a Blackberry codenamed “Driftwood,”  our friends at Boygenius are running with two “sources” who are “confirming” this device for T-mobile in September. Hopefully, rumored to be the first 3G Blackberry device, this should hopefully introduce a little more excitement than the Gemini and its lacking feature set. Rumored specs include the … [read full article]

T-mobile To Launch "Many" Android Devices In 2009!

androidtmobile

Well this is the exact kind of news that brightens up the day for me when I blog! Cole Brodman, T-mobile USA CTO recently spoke to Om Malik at his blog GigaOM and had this to say about Android and T-mobile: “We are looking to launch multiple Android-based devices in the second half of this year with three partners.” Ok, that sounds good to me, anyone else have a complaint about multiple manufacturers producing Android equipment?! Didn’t … [read full article]

myt-mobile

I think its a safe to say that all of us are fairly familiar with the standard My-Tmobile homescreen and the various features and services it can provide. With that in mind, change is coming in the form of the above screenshot showing the revamped MyTmobile page set to launch May 24th. Details are limited on what if any “real” improvements this page will offer other than aesthetic changes but employees have gone through a training so … [read full article]

Compliments of the guys at BoyGenius we are given a glimpse at the Walmart 2009 T-mobile roadmap which has quite a few goodies in them. Notably the availablity of the Gemini in July, much much sooner than the Q4 date BoyGenius tipped off a few days ago. The real surprise here is the sticker price for this introductory Blackberry, $78 with a price drop to $48 coming after a few months. That’s … [read full article]

Word coming out of Orlando and WES via the guys from Boygenius is that the Blackberry Gemini, otherwise known as the 3G-less Blackberry most of us haven’t been praying for is expected to hit magenta sometime in the fourth quarter of this year. The real standout feature of this device is the Optical Trackball rather than the current white trackball we are all so familiar with. Early reports have been plenty positive … [read full article]

Thanks to a tipster who managed to have a camera phone at the right moment we are getting a sneak preview of a portion of the Samsung 3G lineup for later this year. Shown above is the Gravity replacement, currently shown as the Gravity 2 along with the T349, which we came to our attention at the end of April. Visual Voicemail Coming!

visualvoicemail

Well I bet at least a few of you will be more than interested in getting your hands on this feature and while the above picture lacks any real detail, an approaching release date is interesting enough. Visual voicemail is a feature the iPhone popularized, the G1 adopted via 3rd party software and now seems to be on its way officially from the big magenta T. Without any other information we are left pondering what … [read full article]
