T-Mobile Q4 and full year 2014 earnings call to take place on Feb. 19

Although the company has already announced preliminary financial results for the final quarter and full fiscal year of 2014, T-Mobile is set to announce full results officially on February 19th. Just six days from now. The call will run for approximately 90 mins and will be an “extended, open conversation” kicking off at 9:00am Eastern, and ending at 10:30am Eastern. New carrier phone unlock regulation active from today

Although the agreement made between carriers and the FCC was virtually finalized in 2013, carriers from today can’t say no to customer requests to unlock their phones. Providing they are no longer under contract, or have any installments to pay. Once unlocked, you’re free to use your handset on which ever compatible carrier your heart desires. FCC’s estimated bids for upcoming 600MHz auction “undervalues” spectrum according to broadcasters

Last Friday, the FCC updated information on its upcoming 2016 broadcast incentive auction, increasing the estimated opening bids from an estimate released in October. However, the Expanding Opportunities for Broadcasters Coalition, a broadcaster group, believes that the value predicted is far too low. Sprint CEO not fazed by T-Mobile’s momentum

While John Legere is pursuing Sprint and seeking to overtake it as the #3 carrier in the U.S., it seems his rival is focussed on more important things.
