Yesterday, T-Mobile gave us an update on its network as it stands at the end of 2016. Extended Range LTE grew quite a bit in the final months alone, going from 225 million people in October to 250 million people in December. T-Mobile shares end-of-year network update

With 2016 coming to a close, T-Mobile has decided to share an end of year update on its network. T-Mobile CTO Neville Ray revealed today that T-Mo’s LTE network now covers 313 million people. To compare, T-Mobile reported its LTE coverage was at 312 million people back in October and 304 million at the end of 2015. T-Mobile Extended Range LTE coming to Chicago in the first half of 2017

Back in May, we learned that T-Mobile had agreed to acquire 700MHz spectrum in Chicago that would be used for Extended Range LTE in that city. T-Mobile reports Q3 2016 results, including 2 million customers added

UPDATE: T-Mobile CEO John Legere teased that a new Un-carrier move will be announced before T-Mo’s next earnings call. T-Mobile’s Q4 2015 earnings were announced in mid-February, so the next Un-carrier move could come sometime before mid-February 2016. New reports say T-Mobile has fastest LTE, highest customer satisfaction in the U.S.

Looks like OpenSignal’s network comparison isn’t the only report that T-Mobile fared well in recently. First up, Ookla’s Speedtest recently shared a report on the stat us U.S. internet in the first half of 2016. On the mobile side, T-Mobile virtually tied with Verizon for fastest download speeds, with T-Mobile posting an average download speed of 21.02Mbps and Verizon putting up an average speed of 21.11. T-Mobile adds 1.9 million customers in Q2 2016, marking 13th straight quarter of 1M+ adds

UPDATE: T-Mobile has been ranked highest in Total Ownership Experience by J.D. Power among full service U.S. wireless companies.   T-Mobile today released their Q2 2016 results, and overall it looks like the Un-carrier had another solid quarter.
