You may remember, towards the end of March, T-Mobile announced and launched a brand new coverage map. It promised it would be in near real-time and give realistic coverage expectations. Unlike the traditional coverage maps, it doesn’t hold on to old data and fail to update. Instead, it uses crowd-sourced information along with its own data to show how good, or bad, coverage actually is. Or at … [read full article]

Starting today, T-Mobile is beginning the rollout of a software update which finally brings Band 12 support to the Samsung Galaxy Avant. The aim was always to get its customers on to T-Mobile’s more modern, faster LTE network and re-farm the old spectrum and integrate it in to T-Mobile’s network. With progress so far being quick and efficient, it looks like the legacy network could be shut down sooner than we expected. T-Mobile plans to have the … [read full article]
Last year, I was fortunate enough to attend LG’s G3 launch event to see if the company could come up with a device bold enough and powerful enough to beat its flagship rivals. Sadly, despite having great specs on paper, the overall performance for me wasn’t quite good enough. The screen was dull and dark and its camera could sometimes … [read full article]
