T-Mobile explains why some customers got a text telling them it’s Tuesday on a Wednesday

Some T-Mobile customers got a text message today telling them it was Tuesday and urging them to download the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. There was some concern that it could be phishing or something similar, but I’ve now got an explanation for what happened. Judge approves T-Mobile-Sprint merger

It’s official: T-Mobile and Sprint’s merger has been approved by the judge presiding over a trial involving 14 state attorneys general. In his decision, Judge Victor Marrero said that the merger is not likely to substantially lessen competition like the suing state AGs had claimed it would.
