T-Mobile reports full Q4 and 2019 results, says it was 6th straight year with 5M+ new customers

One month after teasing its Q4 2019 earnings, T-Mobile today unveiled its complete report for the final quarter of last year. T-Mobile added 1.86 million customers in the fourth quarter of 2019, bringing it up to a total of 86.0 million customers. T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile rank highest in J.D. Power’s U.S. wireless customer care report

T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile have scored top marks in J.D. Power’s latest report on U.S. wireless customer care. In its latest report, J.D. Power says that T-Mobile earned 848 points out of 1,000 for its customer care, beating out its previous score and rating 43 points higher than the industry average. National Advertising Division takes issue with claims in T-Mobile’s TVision ad

T-Mobile has been called out for some of the claims it made in an advertisement for its TVision home television service. The National Advertising Division, part of the Better Business Bureau, has recommended that T-Mobile discontinue some of the claims it made in a previous TVision ad. As T-Mobile and Sprint await a judge’s decision on their merger, the two carriers are teaming up in a different way. T-Mo and Sprint announced today that they’re partnering on STIR and SHAKEN call verification across networks. T-Mobile and Verizon attack each other’s 5G networks over Super Bowl weekend

We’ve seen Verizon and T-Mobile argue back and forth quite a bit over the years, and that bickering continued over Super Bowl weekend. Yesterday Verizon released an ad pitting its 4G LTE network against T-Mobile’s 5G in New York City. FCC investigation finds that carriers violated the law with sale of customer location data

The FCC announced today that some U.S. carriers violated federal law, and one of them may be T-Mobile. FCC Chairman Ajit Pai has confirmed that “one or more wireless carriers” broke the law by selling customers’ real-time location data.
