Will UMA Ever Come To Android? Ever?

Almost exactly a month to the day  I wrote a short editorial about why I think UMA still matters, especially on Android. I don’t think I read one dissenter in the comments who stated that UMA on Android wouldn’t be a welcomed addition. Then yesterday came a report from GigaOM namesake Om Malik who spoke to an unnamed T-Mobile representative and was told that T-Mobile would “continue to support UMA on the current and forthcoming … [read full article]

Have You Been Able To Pre-Order The G2 At Best Buy?

So yesterday, Best Buy (supposedly) started taking down pre-orders for the T-Mobile G2. Oddly enough, word coming through Twitter and through our very own TmoNews Forums say differently. As a matter of fact, to find out for myself, I drove down to my nearest Best Buy store this morning and lo and behold the representative had no clue what I was talking about. So either we’re all going insane, or Best Buy isn’t currently offering … [read full article]

According to AndroidCentral, a tipster tells them the G2 will run you about $150-$200 with a 2-year contract agreement at Costco and $449.99 retail price. Additionally, Costco will also include accessories at no additional cost. I definitely wouldn’t mind a free case or a free car charger. AndroidCentral
