T-Mobile Support Forum Moderators Says No Sensation 4G ICS Update In April

While many of you are questioning the delay in HTC’s release of the Sensation 4G update for T-Mobile, both companies have been silent since the middle of March. That is until today, when a T-Mobile support forum post helps clear the air on what’s going on. It doesn’t give us the answer we really want to here, but at least it tells us they are aware of your concerns. “The Sensation 4G will not update … [read full article]

(Updated) LG Posts Minor G2x Update, Sadly Not The Update You’ve Been Waiting For

Update: According to T-Mobile, this update hasn’t been officially released, so you may not see the update as available. A quick note for all you T-Mobile G2x owners out there as a minor update has been released, removed and then re-released by LG. There are some early reports about improved battery life, but mostly you’ll just notice a bump from Android 2.3.3 to Android 2.3.4. There is still no word from T-Mobile … [read full article]

Analyst: T-Mobile To Lose 600,000 Postpaid Customers In First Quarter 2012?

Well, this doesn’t sound very positive as JP Morgan Chase analyst Phil Cusick predicts T-Mobile lost close to 600,000 postpaid customers during the first quarter of 2012. The first quarter of every year is traditionally weak, however, such a loss would further dampen hopes that T-Mobile is capable of an immediate turnaround. As a refresh, T-Mobile lost a net 802,000 postpaid subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2011. T-Mobile reports its earnings on May 10th. If these … [read full article]

(Updated) HTC One S Hits T-Mobile’s Website For $599.99 Full Retail

Updated: Sorry guys, at the request of T-Mobile we pulled this post down earlier in the day. Given the embargo on One S reviews, they asked us to pull down the link. No matter, it spread like wildfire all over the internets anyway. The HTC One S has been present in one form or another on T-Mobile’s website since they announced the device back at HTC’s unveiling of the One series of smartphones. This new-ish … [read full article]

T-Mobile TestDrive Website Now Live And Ready For Your —- Test Drive

Update: Perhaps calling this a “cop-out” was a little too strange of language, but I stand by my assertion that this is wrong and that T-Mobile should test 4G against 4G or not at all. I hope T-Mobile recognizes that their strength lies in comparable speeds, but really shakes things up when it comes to value.  T-Mobile’s TestDrive website is now live and I will say at first glance, I’m disappointed. I’ll just get right to it … [read full article]

Rumor Alert: T-Mobile Retail Employee Says Lumia 900 Is Coming?

I’m filing this story completely into the rumor category and it’s not because I don’t want it to be true, more like I’m skeptical of random T-Mobile employee comments. While this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about a possible Lumia 900 launch on T-Mobile, this story isn’t doing much to convince me. I completely trust the boys at WMPowerUser, however, I don’t know that this isn’t just a random T-Mobile employee who was just … [read full article]

As we prepare ourselves for the inevitable crush of news (and rumors) leading up to the Galaxy S III launch event, a new story claims the GSIII will be the official phone of the London 2012 Summer Olympics. BGR reports that an inside source has advised them to expect a “huge” international roll-out for the GSIII as the device debuts as the official smartphone of the 2012 Summer Olympics. The Olympic rumor would explain why Samsung … [read full article]

More about this marketing campaign David? Yup, there’s more and it’s possible there will be more tonight. T-Mobile CEO Philip Humm is even getting in on the action, sending out a letter to T-Mobile employees informing them of the new campaign, which begins tomorrow. HTC One S April 25 Launch Date Listed One Again, Still Not Priced

While all our information has us believing the HTC One S will make its debut on April 25th, we’re still waiting for official word from T-Mobile. Until then, we’ll just have to make do with another piece of unofficial intel pointing to the April 25th date. Sadly, no price is listed on this sheet, but we suspect the price will be similar to the launch price of the Galaxy S II and HTC Amaze 4G. … [read full article]
