Following Hurricane Laura making landfall, T-Mobile has announced that it waiving overages for customers in affected areas to ensure they can stay in contact with loved ones. T-Mobile wants to buy Shentel’s wireless business, but they can’t agree on a price

T-Mobile Stay Connected discount is coming to an end

Earlier this year, T-Mobile offered a “Stay Connected” discount to help customers affected by the coronavirus pandemic to pay their bill, knocking 50% off their plan price and limiting them to 3GB of data usage per month. NAD recommends T-Mobile discontinue 5G ads that were challenged by Verizon

T-Mobile begins pushing updates to OnePlus 8, OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, OnePlus 6T

T-Mobile’s got new updates for a trio of OnePlus devices. The OnePlus 8 5G is now receiving an update to version 10.5.20.IN55CB. The changelog says this new update enables standalone 5G, but T-Mobile actually rolled that feature out to the OnePlus 8 5G with an update earlier this month. T-Mobile has most retail stores among US postpaid carriers

We learned earlier this month that merging with Sprint helped T-Mobile to pass AT&T and become the #2 US carrier in terms of total customers, but it turns out that that’s not the only metric in which T-Mo has surpassed AT&T.
