T-Mobile Ready To Begin “4G” Advertising

There is little question T-Mobile’s decided use of the “4G” moniker for their HSPA+ network has caused quite a stir. There is of course plenty to argue regarding the merits of the T-Mobile claim to a “4G” network. Whatever the truth may be, T-Mobile isn’t likely to care because bottom line, given the current wireless network situation in America, T-Mobile has hands down the fastest network currently available. Rest assured the “4G” issue isn’t going … [read full article]

myTouch3G Update Continues Through December 15th

When news dropped that the original myTouch3G would be receiving an update to Android 2.2 Froyo, you could almost hear the excitement wherever you were standing. Unfortunately, T-Mobile has updated their official forums to indicate that the update, which was expected to be completed by October 25th, will now run through December 15th. No cause or reason is given for the delay except to say that the update continues in staggered waves. I guess since … [read full article]

Nexus 2/S/Whatever Coming To T-Mobile? We Say Likely.

We admit there is a fair amount of skepticism regarding the fabled Nexus 2/S/Whatever, both from our readers, other members of the blogging community and even ourselves. We can’t say it really exists, and then again I can’t say a 20 million dollars exists because I’ve never seen that much money all at once. The Nexus S (Formerly Known As Nexus 2) Is Real And Coming Soon?

Sometimes in the wireless industry there are stories and rumors that sound so good, they are likely untrue. The Nexus Two, the (obvious) follow up to the Nexus One wasn’t supposed to happen. Earlier today when nobody thought it was happening Taylor of Androidandme thought otherwise and took a lot of heat for running his own report. Sticking to his guns paid off however as Gizmodo has just given him a whole lot of support in … [read full article]

We received word late last night that T-Mobile had put the 200MB data plan launch on hold for as of yet undetermined reason.
