T-Mobile suffering from outage in Pennsylvania

UPDATE: Neville Ray says that the fiber cut that caused the issue has been repaired and that most major sites are back online. T-Mobile CFO talks about targeting AT&T’s M2M customers, keeping legacy GSM around

Earlier this month, T-Mobile began targeting AT&T’s Internet of Things (IoT) and machine-to-machine (M2M) customers by offering them free 2H service through the end of 2016. Now T-Mo CFO Braxton Carter has elaborated on how the Un-carrier’s 2G plans differ from AT&T. “Until you get voice and data on LTE, you can’t refarm spectrum dedicated to legacy technology,” Carter said. T-Mobile HTC One M9 getting September security update

After receiving an August security patch earlier this month, T-Mobile’s HTC One M9 is now getting another update. TmoNews reader and HTC One M9 owner Kevin says that his phone got a 355.44MB software update today. The update brings the One M9 to version 3.39.531.21 and includes the September 1 security patches. T-Mobile CTO says less than one percent of customers turn off Binge On, also talks 600MHz deployment

T-Mobile Galaxy S7 and S7 edge updates rolling out with September security patches in tow

UPDATE: T-Mobile has updated its support pages for both the GS7 and GS7 edge with info on these updates. Google Pixel gets shown off again in new image leak

UPDATE: Shortly after this Google Pixel render leaked, a render of the Google Pixel XL surfaced, too. The Pixel XL looks similar to the Pixel, but it’s got a different wallpaper. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are coming to MetroPCS. T-Mobile has confirmed to me that Apple’s new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are launching at MetroPCS. However, availability is limited at first, with “select” stores in San Francisco getting the iPhone 7 Plus today.
