Upcoming T-Mobile Tuesday will offer ESPN Magazine subscription, grand prize trip to World Series

Next week’s T-Mobile Tuesdays gifts and prizes have been revealed, and this time the focus is on sports.

The T-Mobile Tuesday for October 4 will include a free one-year subscription to ESPN Magazine. Interestingly, the description says that “you’ll get one year of the best magazine in sports delivered to your door for free,” suggesting that this could be a physical subscription rather than a digital one like most other magazine subscriptions that T-Mobile Tuesdays has offered.

Other free gifts for next week include a free $15 Lyft credit and a free small Frosty from Wendy’s.

All of next week’s prizes come from Major League Baseball. One grand prize winner will get a three-day, two-night trip from October 28 to October 30 so you can attend Game 4 of the 2016 MLB World Series on October 29. This trip includes round trip airfare for two, hotel accommodations, two tickets to Game 4, and a $2,590 check for taxes, meals, and travel expenses.

One hundred first prize winners will get a $100 MLBshop.com gift card, while 200 second prize winners will receive a $50 gift card for MLBshop.com.

    Still no vudu.

    • I keep getting vudu every week.

      • MattPortland

So you have a whole different T-Mobile Tuesday than the rest of us?

  • F4LL0U7

    Not VUDU, don’t care.

They should really reevaluate the expiration of the deals they’re offering. The Lyft credit is next to useless since it expires at 5am Wednesday morning.

  • JayBEE

    No VUDU, ignore.

  • Enrico Abel Delos Santos

    Still no Vudu? Booooo :(

  • Sushimane

Just outta curiosity has anyone received their tmobile shirt from way back? lol

    • lomsha

A few people posted that they have. Personally i haven’t.

    • SurvivingSunnyvale

      I haven’t

    • AngusMightHaveABeef

HA! It’s been so long I forgot I was supposed to be getting one. :)

    • neospade44

It’s weird, but 3 of my lines ordered that day and so far only 1 has arrived. Same address, but still only 1. Weird.

  • samku06

My wife and sister received the shirt, my parents and I and a lot of people I know haven’t.

Has anyone on here won any of the grand prizes?

I always hope I will get one and never do, lol.

    • George Salcedo

Contact t-mobile on Facebook messenger and they will provide the link to contact the shipper.

  • Jason Caprio

Ever since they discontinued the free Dominos pizza, T-Mobile Tuesdays has pretty much nothing I’m interested in. Magazine subscriptions… seriously?!

I know it’s free stuff but I rather they scrapped this joke and start improving coverage at a faster rate!

    • TechnoRealz

You should move to a better city. Not in sticksville.

      • Jason Caprio

I live in Bensalem, PA. I am not in “sticksville” although it would be nice if when I travel to “sticksville” that my phone would work like my work AT&T phone does. T-Mobile has molded you to believe that cell phones should only work in major cities.

        • George Salcedo

          Hate, hate, hate!

        • Gobias Industries

Well as the saying goes about PA, it’s Pittsburgh and Philadelphia with Alabama in between. Googled your town 60k population = sticks

        • Thorhand

A town of 60,000 is considered sticks?? That’s a mid size town, far from being considered small. I work in City government of a 98,000 population city and it’s considered fairly large mid size. I also checked Bensalem, PA on the map and it looks like it’s fairly suburban with major freeways traversing it. If T-Mobile does not provide service there, they’re missing out on a major market.

        • Gobias Industries

Yes that was my point 60k=sticks

        • Jason Caprio

Load up google maps. Type in Bensalem, PA or 19020 zip code. You will see this is anything but sticks. I never said I had coverage issues in my home area. Just slow data speeds here and there. I have coverage issues in the real sticks lol

        • Gobias Industries

DGAF what that never heard of town looks like on Google maps. ….

        • MattPortland

60k isn’t the sticks. And you’re kind of being a jerk.

        • Gobias Industries

Thanks for your insightful opinion on what constitutes the sticks……riveting. Being from the hick town by the river I would expect no less from you.

        • MattPortland

I’m from a town of nearly 3 million. Try again. And exactly where are you from Mr. Everywhere That I Don’t Live Is A Hick Town?

        • Gobias Industries

I’m from the hick town by the river (Portland which I wrongly assumed you were from with your name). I now live in the sticks, 80k (no idea and 0 interest in googling it) or so population just outside of Seattle. Never argued once I was from Manhattan just shared MY opinion that under 100k is the sticks to which you seemed inclined to argue with my opinion, why I have no idea. The other guys threshold is 1k mine is 100k not sure what your sum is and not sure why I or anyone would GAF.

        • Jason Caprio

Your definition of the sticks is wildly inaccurate. Taken from Urban Dictionary: “Middle of nowhere, beyond the outskirts of town.”

        • Gobias Industries

Can’t believe you have Internet there in the sticks

        • Jason Caprio

I am not sure whether you are just trolling or seriously trying to dispute what the definition of “sticks” is. I am going to assume you are just a troll. End of conversation. :-)

        • Gobias Industries

Thank you, it was so boring trolling such a fool.

        • Jason Caprio

You crack me up lol. So your idea of “sticks” is my town which is within the Greater Philadelphia Area, which borders North-east Philadelphia, and is surrounded by many other towns.

My idea of “sticks” is a tiny town in the middle of nowhere surrounded by wilderness.

Look at a map before you make uneducated statements.

A good example of “sticks” would be White Haven, PA. Population 1000.

        • Gobias Industries

Again yes, I don’t care what your town is around or surrounded by we have different definitions of the sticks. Yours is 1k mine is under 100k. Opinions vary and since you continue to argue you’re nonsensical opinion vs my nonsensical opinion you are appearing more and more to be a rube from the sticks.

        • Jason Caprio

Haha this is great. If I walk a quarter mile down the street, I’d be in the city of Philadelphia which has a population of 1.5 Million. Give it up already bro.

        • Gobias Industries

Move that 1/4 mile and by MY definition you would be out of the sticks. By YOUR definition you could move to any POS town with over 1k people and your cosmopolitan.

        • noh1bvisas

it’s kentucky in-between, not alabama. we call it pennsyltucky.

        • Gobias Industries

That’s right, knew it was one of those slack jawed fly over welfare states.

        • Nobody Special

I have a Wifi hotspot from Tmobile 6GB plan and it works really well in sticksville compared to my note 3. I think the frequency bands of the individual phones makes all the difference too.

    • David

I get great service in Bensalem. Maybe it’s just you?

  • tranceformer978

I wonder if they’ll continue to offer free Frosties in the winter.

    • SurvivingSunnyvale

      It’s never winter in California.

      • Acdc1a

        Or Florida

        • lomsha

          Or Arizona

        • THEQuirkiestONE

          Or Louisiana

        • Al Gore

          Or Alaska

      • neospade44

        Or Texas

      • MattPortland

        It is in NoCal.

  • TechnoRealz

I believe the ESPN print sub INCLUDES the digital access.
At least my subscription does: digital version & Insider.

    • Acdc1a

      That makes it worth it.

  • Elizabeth Aiken

I received my tmobile t shirt luvv it

  • stuman19741974 .

I’d be happy with the grand prize so I can be there for when my Cubs sweep the Red Sox at Wrigley ;)

    • Sushimane

    • Nobody Special

      me too

  • rex2745

Does anyone actually win these grand prizes? How do they actually pick the person? Randomly or the first person to get on the app at 430am?

  • draws

T mobile Tuesday gets worse and worse. Give the people something worth it like free food or a free month of service

    • MattPortland

They’re never going to give a free month of service.

    • Send Obama to Mars

We’ll get free data for a month, when the Cubs break the curse and win a World Series. Of course, that may mean never, but there’s hope for the Cubs this year.

  • Gobias Industries

Thank you for allowing me to have an “inaccurate” opinion. I will allow you to have an inaccurate opinion as well about something I can’t believe anyone spent any time arguing. Most boring troll ever

    • MattPortland

Oh you’re most welcome. Pay it forward. I can’t believe anyone gave a damn in the first place.

  • Gobias Industries

How would you know what Portland is? I was born and raised there you use it as your name on disqus. NW Portland is definitely hipsterville but that is mostly Californian’s.

  • Nobody Special
