We’re hearing rumor after rumor that Android has been delayed, and pushed back to 2009. Well TmoNews is jumping into the pool or rumors, calling BS on those other rumors, and putting in our vote of confidence on a presale of the Android phone on September 16th, 2008. This information, coming from a trusted source, prices the Android phone, also known as the G1 (Codename or real name, we’re not sure) at $399. Full invoice that is. … [read full article]

Is Video Calling right for T-Mobile?

Alright, so users probably wouldn’t be getting video calling on the Wing, but we made easy work of it with Microsoft Paint. With the 3G up in The Big Apple, Sin City and Austin, and many more cities to come, it is time for T-mobile to expand create high speed services for users. After a little downtime, TmoNews is back and badder then ever. If your wondering why we posted a picture of a mad baby…we don’t know either, it is just funny looking! Thanks to our wonderful host GoDaddy, our site was randomly taken down for a little under an hour. In their defense, we were back up within 30 minutes of calling CC. It shouldn’t happen again. In T-mobile related news…keep your eyes open for some fun rumors … [read full article]

Sony Ericsson TM506 hitting T-mobile on Sep. 3rd

sebella

A picture is worth a 1000 words. Unless it completely fails to mention HSDPA or aGPS. The Sony Ericsson TM506 will have 1700/2100 MHz UMTS & HSDPA, yet following T-mobile’s current policy of not telling customers about the best features on their phones, T-mobile fails to mention any 3G features on this new Orange and Black beauty (it will come in Green and Black too). No worries, that is why we are here! With 3G live in … [read full article]

bb8220-2

The time has come for those T-mobile Blackberry users that have gotten tired of Curves or Pearls. Our friends at BlackberryNews have presented us with the roadmap of T-Mobile’s 2008 Blackberry plans. Number 1: The Blackberry Kickstart (Pictured above). As the first ever flip-Blackberry, the Kickstart will have to prove itself in the Blackberry community, but with Hotspot@Home (UMA), OS 4.6, and seemingly all the same features as the Pearl 8120, the Kickstart seems like … [read full article]

As you have read, T-mobile will have 3G in the top 27 markets in the US by October 1st. Sidekick helping to change the mobile web?

T-mobile Sidekick

Evidently, the T-Mobile Sidekick is a really popular mobile device to browse the web with.  At least according to the people over at Warner Music Group, who for the past few years have been watching the analytics (those stats that show who’s visiting what) of the group Paramore’s website.  What would be the one device that really stands out in those statistics?  That’s right, T-Mobile’s very own Sidekick!  It could have … [read full article]

T-mobile 3G launching on October 1st

big3g-copy

Earlier this month we posted an article about some information that had come to us regarding an October 1 launch date for nationwide 3G. We wrote it with a grain of salt but we definitely had high hopes for this to be true. This poster, taped (poorly we might add) on the wall outside a meeting is our glass slipper, our unwavering proof of a date that will live in T-mobile infamy. Mark your calenders folks, … [read full article]
