Possible Blackberry 9300 Release Date

File this in the rumor category, but we think we have nailed down a release date for the follow up to the Blackberry Curve.  Dubbed the Blackberry Curve 3G, this latest edition to the T-Mobile Blackberry lineup will surely please those who aren’t looking for a high end Blackberry sooner, rather than later.  Our trusty sources say to expect this little number on September 8th.  So mark your calendars since that date is fast approaching.  … [read full article]

T-Mobile G2 ROM, What IS Actually Inside Edition

You have probably noticed that the latest news in the G2 saga is this whole leaked ROM deal.  Well, some time has passed and some secrets are being divulged by people that know their way around ROMs (namely, not me).  Well, you smart people have certainly found some interesting tidbits hidden inside which definitely make the G2 stand out.  First, the pixel density is 240 PPI, which shapes up to a screen resolution of 800×480 … [read full article]

T-Mobile G2 ROM Leaked, What Awaits Inside?

Well specs, release date and price its not, but a leaked T-Mobile G2 ROM has confirmed that the FCC device (HTC PC10100) that leaked yesterday is indeed the G2. Can’t say we’re surprised by this development as I think we all were pretty positive on that front, but we love confirmation around these parts.  The file, aptly named “Test rom for HTC Vision / T-Mobile G2 (Android-Froyo 2.2)” will make for some interesting work to the … [read full article]

Motorola Charm Available Now, No UMA Located

The Motorola Charm, that QWERTY little Motorola phone is now available in your choice of Golden Bronze or Cabernet. You can have it with a 3-megapixel camera, MOTOBLUR and all for a lovely little price of $74.99. Unfortunately, no sign of UMA has been found even so our leaked slide had given us a shred of hope. Our prayers for T-Mobile’s first UMA Android device remain and hopefully they shall be answered soon. Motorola … [read full article]

HTC Device Passes FCC

Ah yes, the FCC, outing another phone and destroying all sorts of secrets.  The HTC PC10100, as it is referred to, passed today with 802.11n WiFi, AWS and HSPA+, which makes it almost a sure thing that it is T-Mobile bound.  Chances are, this is the G2 that we are all expecting (just another month or so!), but it could always be something else.  Enough teasing, let’s get to the real leaks … [read full article]

David’s Take On The Samsung Vibrant

Let there be no question that I had hoped to have this review up for your viewing pleasure two weeks ago.  Unfortunately, I just didn’t have the time to write down proper thoughts regarding the Samsung Vibrant.  We have heard your thoughts though! There is no question that this is T-Mobile’s top of the line smartphone.  The Galaxy S needs little introduction and I won’t bore you with pictures of the back of the phone … [read full article]

Win Lots Of Phones, Free Phones Are Good Thanks To Phonedog

It’s not often we do shameless promotions here. Well, that’s not true as we have done it before but this time I’m doing it for my favorite pups, the Phonedog crew. They’ve asked for a little help in promoting their giveaway blitz of 5 phones from Pantech. I already know what you’re thinking – Pantech doesn’t make phones for T-Mobile. You’re right, they don’t, but why can’t you win this Pantech phone and use it to … [read full article]

Motorola Announces Updated Android Dates For Cliq/Cliq XT

It was just the end of June when Motorola announced its delay in Android updates for both the Cliq and Cliq XT. To say that some of you were upset would be putting it mildly. The lack of communication between Motorola, T-Mobile and those that owned these devices incensed some of you particularly with the debacle of the Behold 2 update from Samsung fresh in your mind. Well Motorola has decided to … [read full article]
