T-Mobile CEO Philip Humm Talks iPhone, Job Restructuring In New Interview

T-Mobile CEO Philip Humm is playing a bit of offense thanks to an interview with the Seattle Times, helping to get out of front and allay any fears that T-Mobile’s recent job restructuring cuts are of any real concern to the future of the company. Humm highlights that while 900 positions are being eliminated on one side, the company is adding 550 new positions which he believes was misunderstood. Furthermore, Humm … [read full article]

AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson is apparently still having trouble sleeping over the failed AT&T, T-Mobile deal. Speaking at an annual conference, AT&T’s CEO took the opportunity and the public platform to whine discuss about the failed deal. Stephenson attacked competition in general and pretty much guaranteed he would raise prices as a result. AT&T continues to complain about a lack of bandwidth in the United States without having added T-Mobile’s own … [read full article]

T-Mobile Announces The Closing Of Seven Call Centers Around The Country

There are stories I hate writing and there are stories I REALLY hate writing, this goes beyond either of those as T-Mobile (internally I might add, though it’s bound to become public anyway as employees find out) announces they are closing down 7 of their 24 call centers. In a move that is likely to shore up finances the company will need to boost operations, close to 3300 employees will be out of … [read full article]

Does Sprint CEO Dan Hesse Want To Work On A Deal With T-Mobile?

I just caught wind of a Forbes article that spoke with Sprint CEO Dan Hesse following Sprint’s fourth-quarter earnings call as saying the end of the AT&T/T-Mobile merger talks “…means many more options for Sprint than we would have had if the merger had gone through.” Hesse follows up that statement by saying that T-Mobile’s spectrum was back on “the table,” though he wouldn’t elaborate any more beyond that. Analysts have long suggested … [read full article]

On a side note, I think those of you … [read full article]
