HTC One, BlackBerry Q10 Launching Nationwide On Wednesday, June 5th

A bit of good news this morning as word just arrived that T-Mobile is planning to release the HTC One nationwide on June 5th. That’s very welcome news considering the original retail/branded launch took place in just 300 stores as HTC was sorely lacking global inventory. As HTC kicks up production it seems to already be filtering down as T-Mobile will bring the device to all of their retail and branded locations next Wednesday. Why Now Is A Great Time to Be a T-Mobile Customer

A few years ago, T-Mobile was borderline sick. The spectrum crunch was felt in full force by T-Mobile customers around the country. 1,500 milliseconds pings and dropped calls galore peeked their heads at every opportunity. T-Mobile’s smaller customer base accompanied by its use of non-standard frequencies for network operation made it nearly impossible for T-Mobile to garner flagship handsets, further compounding the  “greener pastures” appeal of competitors’ networks. To add insult to injury, T-Mobile had no roadmap … [read full article]

In the past three months HTC has lost Jason Gordon, the company’s vice president of global communications; global retail marketing manager Rebecca Rowland, director of digital marketing John Starkweather, and … [read full article]

T-Mobile Drops In American Consumer Satisfaction Index, Now In Fourth Place

I look at each of these studies and wonder if the questions were a little different or if we caught someone on a different day, would their answers have been different? What I can’t do is argue that T-Mobile continues to be on the losing end with a fourth-place finish on the new annual study from the American Customer Satisfaction Index. On a scale from 0-100 the overall score was a 72, a 10-year high in the … [read full article]
