T-Mobile launches its nationwide 5G network

T-Mobile previously said that its nationwide 5G coverage would go live on December 6th, but it looks like T-Mo just couldn’t wait until then to flip the switch. T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network is now live. This coverage uses 600MHz low-band spectrum and covers 200 million people and more than 5,000 cities and towns. T-Mobile reveals data breach affecting prepaid customers

T-Mobile was recently hit with a data breach. T-Mo has revealed an incident in which a malicious party was able to access some prepaid customers’ account info. T-Mobile says that its cybersecurity team discovered and shut down the data breach and that it has reported the incident to the authorities. New T-Mobile Un-carrier 1.0 includes free service for first responders, $15 rate plan

The New T-Mobile’s Un-carrier 1.0 move isn’t just one move, but actually three different moves. The Connecting Heroes Intiative is meant to give free service to first responders. T-Mobile unveils 5 places where its 600MHz signal is available

Back in 2017, T-Mobile spent $7.99 billion to acquire 31MHz of 600MHz spectrum being auctioned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
