Google confirms Android 6.0 Marshmallow, releases final Android M Developer Preview

It’s official: Android M is Marshmallow! Google announced on the Android Developers Blog that Android M’s official name will be “Marshmallow,” continuing the company’s tradition of naming major Android OS updates after desserts.
