AT&T unhappy with T-Mobile’s attempts at clarifying roaming rates

In a blog posted yesterday evening, John Marsh from AT&T outlines the company’s opposition to T-Mobile’s attempt at changing roaming regulation. And that’s not surprising. No matter which party is right or wrong, AT&T seemingly always opposes every change the Un-carrier tries to make. Whether that’s making spectrum auctions more fair, or “clarifying” roaming rate regulations. At the heart of this complaint is T-Mobile’s request to the FCC just a few months back, which goes as … [read full article]

Un-carrier Q3 earnings call highlights: iPhone 6 demand, record-breaking everything and more…

Within the past couple of hours, T-Mobile finished its Un-carrier style earnings call. And unlike any other call I’ve listened in on, very little time was given to the scripted run down and slides of all the quarter’s financials. Instead, Legere&Co wanted it to be an open discussion between analysts, journalists and themselves, switching between answering questions on call and questions posed on Twitter. Because of the varying themes in the questions asked, there was no one … [read full article]

Watch John Legere’s full interview with Re/code’s Ina Fried [video]

As I’m sure you already know, John Legere was interviewed at Re/code’s Code/Mobile event last night by the respected journalist, Ina “not as scary as Kara” Fried. But nevertheless, still some interesting anecdotes and “factoids” and it’s certainly well worth the watch. I … [read full article]
