LG Optimus Reveals Itself, Wi-Fi Calling On Board?

Let’s preface this with the usual warning of take this with a grain of salt, etc. etc…looks real…etc, etc.  I know your eyes have already scanned over this and found the things you wish were different but let’s just laser in on Reason To Buy #2:  is that Wi-Fi calling on board I see?  Is there truly someone sitting in the heavens answering our prayers?  Our ninja for this image did say that he was told this … [read full article]

HTC HD2 Update Coming Soon?

Are those pictures of the HD7 making your HD2 feel unloved?  Well, maybe we can fix that.  According to our in-house Windows Mobile enthusiast and lover (T1 Connect in the forums), you may be seeing an update coming your way.  Apparently there is a ROM Update (3.14) out there in the wild that comes in the form of a ruu, which I guess makes it official and not a custom ROM (right?).  The brave … [read full article]

Nokia Nuron Overclocked

You read that right, the Nokia 5230 (or the Nuron) has been overclocked.  The question here is why?  Why would someone in their right mind undertake the task of (or even want to) overclocking the Nuron.  Well, the simple answer could just be that it can be done and we have the technology (or maybe they were bored).  Either way, someone did it, and now that 434MHz ARM11 chip screams at 800MHz.  This “fix” hasn’t … [read full article]

Courtesy of the Taiwanese forum Mobile01, we’ve got what seem to be the first live shots of the HTC HD3/HD7. As pictured above, the handset has an HD3 label across the bottom half. Interestingly enough, as pictured in the image below, the metal surrounding the camera flips out  to act as … [read full article]

Samsung Says They Are Working On A Vibrant GPS Fix, In Other News The Sky Is Blue

While I’m almost positive this will incite a mini revolt against Samsung, they have stated that GPS improvements are coming to “other carrier partners” just moments after they released the fix for the AT&T Samsung Captivate. I can’t, for the life of me understand why these updates would not be doled out together but hey, I’m just a lowly blogger with a minimal understanding of these things. However, it’s a little aggravating to see the fix … [read full article]

HTC HD7 Sketch Images Leaked?

Although most of you might have been expecting some in the wild pics or even Mr. Blurrycam pics, these design sketches will suffice. The guys over at WMPoweruser seem to have scored some schematic images of the upcoming HTC HD7. While we can’t confirm whether these images are 100% legit, from the looks of it they seem pretty real. Based on the sketches, like its predecessor, the HD2, the HTC HD7 appears to sport a 4.3 inch … [read full article]
