Motorola Announces Updated Android Dates For Cliq/Cliq XT

It was just the end of June when Motorola announced its delay in Android updates for both the Cliq and Cliq XT. To say that some of you were upset would be putting it mildly. The lack of communication between Motorola, T-Mobile and those that owned these devices incensed some of you particularly with the debacle of the Behold 2 update from Samsung fresh in your mind. Well Motorola has … [read full article]

Is This A Real Leaked T-Mobile Roadmap?

The guys over at Androidspin claim to have been sent, via one of their sources, a leaked T-Mobile roadmap showing off 16 devices coming the Magenta way. Let me just say right now, I don’t know if this is real, it most certainly doesn’t look like the roadmaps I have seen in the past…that’s not to say it’s fake, just saying I’m suspicious of its validity. Which means, for those of you who will inevitably … [read full article]

Android 2.1 Update For Motorola CLIQ Delayed

Don’t say we didn’t tell you! Today, Motorola officially announced, via their support forums, that Android 2.1 for the CLIQ has been delayed. Motorola states that the reason they’re unable to deliver the Android 2.1 update for the planned Q2 date is because of a decision to take more time on the release to help “optimize the experience in some key areas”. This delay seems to line up perfectly with what we heard … [read full article]

New Cliq Ad–Designed By Motorola

I believe advertising is essential in any marketing campaign. Advertising is a key component, and if a company can advertise effectively, most of the time the product will successfully sell. Motorola aired a nice ad yesterday after the Yankees baseball game, which in my opinion effectively introduced the Motorola Cliq. It consisted of just the right amount of humor without overdoing it and was simple and right to the point. Check out the ad above for yourself and let us know what you think about it! Do … [read full article]
