I know from reading the comments and the forums so many of you are among the lucky pre-sale buyers for the G1. Apparently there are quite a few more of you than we previously thought as fool.com is reporting that over 1.5 million G1’s were sold during the pre-sale. The better news, more than that number are marked for availability in the retail channel. About 10 days ago there were reports that T-mobile had hopes … [read full article]

First let me just preface with the irony of today’s G1 video. It comes from an iPhone fan website. The guys at iPhonesavior posted a G1 video today that shows some excellent shots of pacman which is all I really want the phone for anyway. Just kidding but we do get great shots, however, of the market, google street view along with a few other goodies. As usual I prefer the video to do the talking … [read full article]

A few lucky employees have much to the jealousy of T-mobile fans everywhere gotten some hands on time with the G1 and have posted their musings on the forums. One such user Sol Glow has posted his thoughts and impressions AND has been more than kind enough to keep a thread going with a Q&A session. Initial Start Up With that said the first screen you’re faced with is a log-in to Gmail account screen. If … [read full article]
Earlier today we previewed the “Behold” and now we bring you the “Gravity.” Which begs the question as to how developers come with these awful names? I wonder if developers blindly go to a random page in the dictionary, point to a word and voila, we found our device name! Previously code-named the “Holic” (another name I won’t even touch) this little device from Samsung borders on those who love qwerty yet don’t need any extras. … [read full article]
We first got wind of this phone back in mid-August and it certainly has a lot of expectation as the first ALL-touch screen phone for T-mobile. Dubbed the “Behold” we’re still waiting on a detailed list of specs, but we know a 5mp camera, Honestly, where do they come up with these names lately?! Well the good news is info leaking out shows a November 10th release date with a price of $149. No word on … [read full article]
That’s right T-mobile is in high gear for the 22nd of October, you know the day some G1 phone launches. Oh well, phones are all the same these days, right? Much more important however is some small overhauling to the Myfaves rate plans. Magenta has done a little tweaking to the plans increasing them by $10 and making mobile 2 mobile standard on all myfaves plans. So really, its not “tweaking” per se, just making what … [read full article]
