As we count down the days to the wondrous release of the Touch Pro 2 there has been much debate surrounding the price. It just so happens that patience IS rewarded and the pricing has been uncovered, for better or worse. The HTC Touch Pro 2, diamond encrusted with T-Mobile 3G, will run you exactly $213,487.23 $349.99 if you sign a 2 year death wish contract (with no rebate, sorry), and about $400 … [read full article]
Not long after catching wind of this device( for the second time), courtesy of the FCC files, this Nokia Tablet has been spotted and photographed in the wild. The pictures, courtesy of commenter Speedy over at Engadget, clearly show the model number (RX-51), and are strikingly similar to the renders that we have seen before. The back captures the rumored 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens. The interesting part, however, is that there appears to … [read full article]
The all powerful FCC has come through again, like it always seems to do. This specific filing, however, is a bit interesting. You might be able to tell that the device shown in the ID placement drawing above depicts something a bit wide for a phone. This intriguing development makes it seem as though we are looking at an internet tablet from Nokia. How do we know this is bound for T-Mobile? Well, that’s a good … [read full article]

Here they are: Postpaid handsets: Samsung T239 (red) Sony Ericsson TM506 (amber) Samsung Gravity 2 … [read full article]
With the recent furor over the Touch Pro2‘s rumored pricing, we thought this would be a good time to bring up something that may have long been forgotten by many of you since we first provided the details back in November. It’s no secret that T-Mobile has been stepping up their advertising campaign lately. It has been a natural progression of course; starting with commercials, then moving to an extremely personalized press event and now their latest propaganda, people jumping out of perfectly good planes and plummeting to the Earth (with some fancy flips, synchronization and safe landings thrown in there somewhere). It appears that T-Mobile is going all out for the launch of … [read full article]

Bringing pack Catherine Zeta Jones to spearhead yourMobileMakeover campaign is a mighty fine idea and T-mobile, we thank thank thank you for doing so. That being said, it appears as though everything can’t be sunshine and rainbows. Word came down yesterday that starting July 27th, customers will start receiving snail mail notifications stating that effective September 1st T-mobile is increasing their per minute overage charge. In an effort to better … [read full article]
Remember when T-mobile mentioned Exchange support for the Mytouch and all the G1 owners were happy. Then they dropped a bomb on all the G1 owners when they blatantly said “NO!” Well, the “work e-mail” from HTC, that will not be released in the Android Market but will be included with the MyTouch, has found its way to the internet to show G1 users some love, unofficially. Just as an add on, you can also … [read full article]
As the extending dessert list led us to believe, Google and Android has dished out Donut (well technically, they dropped new code for Android Donut). Some people over at XDA Developers are reporting that Donut will be stuffed with system-wide multitouch, universal search, text to speech, automated backups, a new camera app, and somehow (supposedly) better performance (sounds yummy). There also seems to be some CDMA support (for those lucky Sprint and possibly Verizon customers). The … [read full article]
