In the hopes of finding new areas of growth, T-Mobile is adding 1,000 more Business-to-Business (B2B) sales people to grow their presence in the enterprise market, an area T-Mobile now holds around 5% of the $60 billion dollar B2B market. T-Mobile USA issued their Q1 2012 earnings report today along with parent company Deutsche Telekom and surprisingly declared a new increase of 187,000 customers. That number is fairly notable as last quarter saw T-Mobile report a net loss of 526,000 customers and a losses of 99,000 customers in the third quarter of 2011. Here we go again as a new Bloomberg report indicates Deutsche Telekom is in discussions to merge T-Mobile USA with MetroPCS communications. Deutsche Telekom is currently considering a stock-swap transaction that would give T-Mobile’s parent company control over a joint entity, which would be publicly listed, said two officials on condition of anonymity.
