Fresno Goes 3G, Albuquerque As Well?

Well, it’s been a little while since we’ve heard about any 3G launches and while T-mobile was on a roll for a while back there, there are still quite a few of you clamoring for 3G goodness. With all the attention on “Project Black” and the Sidekick debacle, it is easy to forget T-mobile is still intently focused on rolling out 3G. Therefore, citizens of Fresno, unite, as this morning is your morning … [read full article]

Sidekick Outage ’09: A Resolution

While we have been following the recent Sidekick data outage rather closely, there seems to still be some loose ends.  Well, with this, T-Mobile hopes to knot everything up and bring everything back into a circle.  In addition to a free month of service, Sidekick customers will also be receiving a $100 gift card.  They are also saying that some more data may be salvaged (but I wouldn’t be holding out for that).  Can we just … [read full article]

“Project Dark/Black” Speculation

The last five days or so has seen a rush of discussion regarding “Project Black.” The guessing game for “Project Black” has taken the T-Mobile Internet with hopes from an iPhone launch to an unlimited plan that makes even Sprint jealous. However, this morning was also met by an editorial courtesy of Engadget that begs the question, is a $50 dollar all-you-can-use plan enough to boost T-Mobile USA’s fortunes? The short answer is no, courtesy of the … [read full article]

Blackberry 9700 Party

tmo-9700-invite

It seems like we already know everything we need to about the Blackberry 9700 (T-Mobile just thinks we don’t).  T-Mobile, in an effort to entice more corporate customers, has started issuing various invites to a special Blackberry event about a phone with WiFi enabled calling.  I don’t know about you, but I am stumped on what it could be.  Anyways, I wish I could attend because they are offering up breakfast for attendees (I hope they … [read full article]

Blackberry 9700 Dropping November 11th

Well the release of the Blackberry 9700/Onyx at this point is hardly a secret, in fact it’s downright obvious to anyone who reads this site. However, while we’ve been calling for a November 4th/11th launch for well over a month now, BoyGenius recently received his own set of verifiable info confirming the 11th as the launch date. In the grand scheme of things that extra week won’t mean much for Blackberry lovers who have already … [read full article]

Don’t Want To Wait For MotoBlur? Don’t!

I imagine Sanjay Jha is going to watch this video and begin planning to drop a nuclear weapon on this individual. This clever Android hacker managed to get his hands on the Cliq rom and ported it over to his G1. With the Google/Cyanogen mess still fresh in the minds of Android hackers, we cannot imagine this is going to sit well in the halls of Motorola. We’re counting down to the cease and desist. Nokia N900 Friday Video Fun

With the recent rumor offering up hope that the Nokia N900 will still be landing on Magenta in early 2010, the N900 has showed itself at the Maemo Summit currently taking place. If you weren’t one of the lucky ones able to attend it, (don’t worry we didn’t either), thankfully the action was caught on video. This video focuses on the device’s 3D gaming capabilities and a demonstration playing YouTube videos in the Mozilla-based web browser. While we … [read full article]

More Behold 2 Goodness

You saw the pics our friends over at AndroidandMe took at CTIA 2009 behind the glass. But now Engadget has their hands on this gorgeous device, but sadly they were not about to play around with the phone since neither T-Mobile or Samsung were willing to slip a battery in the phone. With this baby ready just in time for the holidays let us enjoy some pics. So without futher ado, enjoy the in-detail, close-up pics after the break. Feel free to express … [read full article]

What Do You Want From “Project Black?”

I think it goes without saying right now that speculation for “Project Dark” or “Project Black” as we believe its mistakenly been called around the web is quite high. With that said, either everyone thinks they already know what it is, what it should be or most importantly, what they want it to be. The real question is what it would really take from T-Mobile to pole vault over Sprint to the number three spot. Is … [read full article]
