T-Mobile launches “If 5G Were…” comparison series

Once again, T-Mobile has taken a jab at its competitors by illustrating its larger reach for its nationwide 5G network. In a new blog post, T-Mo shared that its nationwide 5G network covers 270 million individuals across 1.4 million square miles. Just before Christmas, T-Mobile revealed that it will stop supporting a number of devices by January 2021. T-Mo released a list of the specific devices that will no longer be available on their network and it included a variety of models. T-Mobile will no longer support these devices in January

It looks like there are a number of old devices that will no longer be compatible with T-Mobile’s network starting next month. Red Rose Transit commuters in Lancaster now have access to T-Mobile’s Wi-Fi

State of Texas partners with T-Mobile as Relay Services provider

A few days ago, T-Mobile revealed that they were chosen by the Public Utilities Commission of Texas (PUCT) to be the provider of the Relay Texas project. Once again, the National Advertising Review Board (NARB) has asked T-Mobile to stop making claims on the reliability of their 5G network. The decision of the board comes after Verizon made complaints on the claims made by T-Mobile on an ad launched this year.  The ad, featuring Bill Nye, received flak after T-Mobile claimed that their 5G network was more reliable than their competitors. T-Mobile is currently running a discount on two 5G-capable tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+.
