T-Mobile executive says they are working on VoNR

Update (11/01): Corrected a typo.   It looks like T-Mobile is working on Voice over New Radio (VoNR). This was earlier reported by Fierce Wireless after T-Mo’s President of Technology, Neville Ray, spoke to the publication. TCL has a new mid-range phone for Metro by T-Mobile

TCL recently unveiled two affordable smartphones that will soon be available at select prepaid brands. The two new devices are called the TCL 20 XE and TCL 20A 5G. It’s official! You can now get your hands on T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile products and services at Best Buy and Walmart stores.  Earlier today, T-Mo announced that its products are now available in more than 900 Best Buy stores throughout the country. T-Mobile’s Ultra-Capacity 5G network leads in new Opensignal study

Report: T-Mobile making “Cross Channel Returns” option available soon

Things appear to be changing for T-Mobile thanks to a recently leaked document. According to the slides, T-Mo could soon offer “Cross Channel Returns.” As explained in The T-Mo Report, this will allow customers to make in-store trade-ins, returns, and store pickup for orders that were placed online and ordinary channels. T-Mobile postpones CDMA shutdown date for another three months

T-Mobile has just announced that it will be delaying its CDMA shutdown by a few months.  Originally, T-Mobile planned to shutdown the network by January 1, 2022; which will give partners “plenty of time and resources to take care of their customers as well.” But based on the Un-carrier’s recent announcement, they decided to postpone the shutdown by another three months.  T-Mobile says that its partners “haven’t followed through on their responsibility to help their customers through … [read full article]

Some T-Mobile & Sprint customers unable to call 911

T-Mobile and Sprint customers in select parts of the country were unable to call 911 for a short duration of time. The issue was made known by the city of Rockford and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.  According to the report, city officials alerted T-Mobile and Sprint customers about the issue via a tweet.
