T-Mobile wants to remind us that coming May 31st, 2011 Danger Service support for legacy T-Mobile Sidekick customers will come to an end. We’re sorry to see the Sidekick line fall into nothingness having been one of T-Mobile’s great success stories and perhaps one of their greatest handset triumphs. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the HTC Sensation 4G is one of the most anticipated handsets on T-Mobile in recent memory and with the rumored launch just under two weeks away T-Mobile has been silent. AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson stuck to his message that this deal was “all about consumers” which was of course rebutted quite frequently by other members of the panel. Parul P. Desair of Consumers Union stated that the merger “would … [read full article]

T-Mobile Raising Price Of G2x Due To Inventory Constraints

We just received this internal screenshot showing T-Mobile’s plan to increase the price of the T-Mobile G2x tomorrow due to “inventory constraints.” I suppose we have truly entered the era of the $300 smartphone now that T-Mobile is taking a lesson from Verizon who priced the DROID Charge at $299.99 when it launched earlier this month. The G2x will now cost $299.99 with a $50 mail in rebate for a net 2 … [read full article]

T-Mobile Bringing Gingerbread To The G2x By Summer

T-Mobile must love tweeting or I should saying using tweets to tease G2x owners on the arrival date of Gingerbread. At the end of April T-Mobile responded to a question asked via Twitter and stated “Gingerbread is coming to the G2x soon. You won’t have to wait long.” Fast forward thirty days and we’re back in the same scenario with T-Mobile responding to another question regarding Gingerbread on the G2x and … [read full article]
