T-Mobile CTO urges FCC to make 3.5GHz band more favorable for 5G

T-Mobile has said that it plans to use 600MHz and high-band millimeter wave spectrum for its 5G coverage, and now T-Mo is making an effort to get more mid-band spectrum for 5G use, too. T-Mobile will cover costs for rural PBS broadcasters to relocate following 600MHz auction

Following the completion of the FCC’s 600MHz auction, the TV broadcasters that were using that spectrum must move off of it so that carriers like T-Mobile can begin using it. T-Mobile announces LAA testing, LTE-U rollout for customers

T-Mobile today made a couple of network-related announcements. First up, T-Mobile has started testing License Assisted Access (LAA) on its network.
