Just before the Uncarrier 5.0 event last month, we received information from a T-Mobile test engineer telling us that the test version of the upcoming Galaxy Avant came equipped with a device unlocking app. The source told us that the app worked very simply. But where we were a little unconvinced was when we were told that the app just “disappeared” … [read full article]
Just hours after it shared an unknown ZTE device with us – presumed to be ‘Olympia’ – Evleaks has leaked a new Kyocera device. The press image was shared in a tweet that simply stated that the phone was coming some time this year, and can be seen below. Yet again, it’s a case of ‘we don’t know much’. No publicly available specs have yet been published and it … [read full article]
Serial leakster, @evleaks is back this morning with another device that’s undergoing testing at T-Mobile. The smartphone/phablet made by ZTE is a complete unknown since it’s not been announced by the manufacturer or by T-Mobile. From the picture, it would seem to be running one of the latest versions of Android. But apart from that, I would just be guessing if I was to speculate on any features. There have been vague whispers to suggest a … [read full article]
It’s expected that T-Mobile will announce its second quarter results towards the end of this month, on July 31st. And many analysts are expecting its strong performance in revenue and subscriber growth to continue. And according to testing done by Signals, the network is proving it’s certainly been a worthwhile investment by T-Mo. For those unaware, the 4×2 MIMO LTE network – described at its most basic – basically … [read full article]
Today, July 16 is a great day for Las Vegas dwelling T-Mobile customers. There’s also the new Flow keyboard, which is similar in style and performance to Swype/SwiftKey, and Cortana, the digital assistant. I’ll make it clear outright, because … [read full article]
