Saygus V2 Super-Powered phone available for pre-order, and it supports band 12

It’s not often a phone unavailable from most official outlets and carrier stores gets so many tech-fans excited. But at CES earlier this year, there were only a couple of phones that got my attention. First was obviously the second generation LG G Flex. The second was Saygus’ insanely specced hyperbeast smartphone. The relatively unknown manufacturer wowed us with an impressive spec list. The company recently made it available for pre-order and it looks as though it … [read full article]

Samsung Galaxy S6 MWC invites are out, hint at Double-Edged phone

Yesterday afternoon, Samsung officially sent out invitations to its next Unpacked event which will take place at MWC in Barcelona next month. The live unveiling will be on Sunday, March 1st. And we’re expecting the tech giant to follow up on its popular Galaxy S5 with a new Galaxy S6, or perhaps two. A couple of people online have spotted a huge clue on the invitation pointing towards what Sammy’s going to unveil. I’d initially thought nothing … [read full article]

T-Mobile’s recently acquired AWS-3 spectrum shown on map

One of our readers, who has evidently been quite busy, got in touch with a map put together after the AWS-3 spectrum auction results were announced. It’s not the most complicated map, but at each point where T-Mobile bid successfully for the spectrum, there’s a dropped pin. You can see the map above, or get a full look at the interactive Google map at this link. As a big picture, it looks good. T-Mobile bid … [read full article]

John Legere finally gets a reaction from Sprint CEO on Twitter

John Legere likes to berate the competition, quite publicly, on Twitter. And during the Superbowl event yesterday evening he took time to aim his jibes at Sprint’s commercials. Something which the CEO himself has said he does to try and get a response. This time he got one. Sort of. Half-assed commercial, half-assed data speeds. #typical @sprint. #SprintLikeHell — John Legere (@JohnLegere) February 2, 2015 In most cases, the controversial CEO doesn’t get … [read full article]

ICYMI: Kim Kardashian and Sarah Silverman’s T-Mobile Superbowl ads

T-Mobile’s hometown football team may have been beaten by Tom Brady in the Superbowl yesterday, but that doesn’t mean there was nothing to enjoy. Perhaps the most talked about feature of the massive sporting event is the marketing. Superbowl ad spots are an opportunity for companies of all kinds to push the boat out and get noticed. And – of course – T-Mo got involved. Our favorite carrier teamed up with a number of stars, including Sarah … [read full article]

T-Mobile “clear winner” in Computerworld wireless customer satisfaction survey

Earlier today, Computerworld released the results of its wireless customer satisfaction survey for 2014, and it paints a glowing picture for T-Mobile. Our favorite carrier scored really well, particularly in customer survice and in the “performance relative to cost” categories. In fact, of the eight individual categories, T-Mo finished top in six of them. For the second year in a row, T-Mobile finished in first when it came to technical support and was 10 percentage points … [read full article]

T-Mobile to launch SCORE! – Early upgrade scheme for customers ineligible for JUMP! [Rumor]

T-Mobile is making moves at the outset of this year with an aim to include lower credit customers a little more in its competitive pricing. A couple of days back it announced Smartphone Equality which will let any loyal customers of any credit class – as long as they have made 12 straight monthly payments – get access to EIP with $0 down … [read full article]
