Apple Music is now live, offering more than 30 million tracks and Beats 1 radio. One thing that it doesn’t have, though, is T-Mobile Music Freedom. In response to a question about if T-Mobile will be adding Apple Music to Music Freedom, T-Mo said that it hasn’t announced anything yet but that it’ll take the question as a vote for the service … [read full article]
Just over a week ago I informed you that June 30th was going to be my last day running TmoNews, and working with the PhoneDog Media team. That time has now come, and much quicker than I was expecting it to. Over the course of my time with the network I’ve written more than five thousand articles, and created over one hundred videos. It’s been fantastic, and if you’d have … [read full article]
Yesterday saw the official launch of T-Mobile’s latest Uncarrier phase. As part 1 of #UncarrierAmped, T-Mo decided to give its JUMP! upgrades program a huge revamp. Rather than charge customers monthly for the right to upgrade when they liked, they decided to change it in to a more flexible phone lease program. Now, you’ll pay one monthly rental fee for a new smartphone and then – when you … [read full article]

T-Mobile has sent a couple of communications out to its retail staff regarding promotions. The one above features two offers available this weekend. One which, sadly, expired today but another kicks off tomorrow through Tuesday. From June 28th to June 30th, customers will be able to purchase the LG Leon LTE for under $80. In a blog post today, Wheeler stated the following: “While some parties have petitioned the Commission to increase the size of the reserve, the draft Order on Reconsideration I am circulating today would maintain the reserve size at the current level. The draft Order concludes that the … [read full article]
T-Mobile very recently announced its brand new version of JUMP!. Named JUMP! on Demand, instead of charging you extra on top of your EIP for the privilege of upgrading early, you’ll now lease a smartphone and upgrade whenever you like. Since it was announced we’ve been bombarded with questions, and I’ve been sent an internal communication (or five) that lays out virtually everything you could possibly wish to … [read full article]
Just a few seconds ago, John Legere tweeted out the first in today’s announcements. Or rather, teased at an announcement before then going on to explain. At time of beginning this post, he hadn’t yet said anything specific except that JUMP! is getting a revamp. This post is developing, I’ll keep adding information as I wade through it. UPDATE: T-Mobile has updated its newsroom page with the full press release, and there’s now … [read full article]

Devices affected include the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s. Katyovescoach on Reddit published the following: “Hey guys. So this morning my iPhone 6 (4 months … [read full article]
