Breaking: T-Mobile USA and Apple have entered into an agreement to sell the Apple products on T-Mobile’s network in 2013. “T-Mobile USA has entered into an agreement with Apple to bring products to market together next year,” said DT in a press release. Just as the world expected, Apple has released unlocked iPhone 5 units available from its online store as of earlier this week. The unlocked device price range will fall in line with our anticipated price models beginning at $649, $749, and $849 for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of storage, respectively. Speaking at the Morgan Stanley 12th Annual Technology, Media & Telecoms Conference in Barcelona, T-Mobile COO Jim Alling admitted the carrier is at a disadvantage without the iPhone. T-Mobile has confirmed to the Wall Street Journal the removal of the Apple iPhone name from the company’s “bring your own device” marketing push.
