T-Mobile meets with FCC to talk 5G network model and Sprint merger

T-Mobile is working to persuade the FCC that its proposed merger with Sprint should be approved, and recently the carrier put together a presentation about what its 5G network would be like if T-Mo and Sprint do come together. T-Mobile asks FCC for permission to perform 5G tests in Las Vegas and Spokane

T-Mobile has named Las Vegas as one of the first cities that’ll get its 5G coverage, and recently the company asked for permission to begin 5G testing there. T-Mobile and Ericsson reach $3.5 billion deal for 5G hardware and software

After striking a $3.5 billion deal with Nokia earlier this year to help build a 5G network, T-Mobile has now announced a similar deal with Ericsson. T-Mobile says Q2 2018 was its best second quarter ever, 1.58 million new customers added

T-Mobile’s Q2 2018 earnings are in, and it looks like T-Mo extended its streak of quarters with more than one million customer adds. T-Mobile says that the second quarter of 2018 was its best Q2 ever, adding 1.58 million customers. That makes Q2 2018 the 21st straight quarter that T-Mo had more than 1 million net adds.
