Android 4.4.3 coming to Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 today?

Android version 4.4.3, looks set to arrive on the Nexus 5 and last year’s version of the Nexus 7 today. At least, it is if T-Mobile software support documents are to be taken notice of. Sadly, there’s nothing more specific than “security enhancements” and “various bug fixes” mentioned in the post when it comes to features. Not exactly exciting, but it would seem to agree with previous leaks which suggest 4.4.3 will be nothing more than a … [read full article]

HTC offering T-Mo One M8 buyers a free Fetch accessory while stocks last

Over the past couple of months, T-Mobile’s been focussing a lot of attention on the Galaxy S5 and – more recently – the LG G3. Doing huge giveaways and pre-registration plugs, while the HTC One essentially just got a “here, it’s available”. This weekend, HTC has been sending out emails to subscribers offering them a free HTC Fetch accessory if they buy a One M8 from T-Mobile. The Fetch, for those who don’t know, is a small … [read full article]

Leaked by TK Tech News, the device is shown picking up T-Mobile’s signal, and … [read full article]

Coocoo Planet review

If I was to sum up the essence of Coocoo Planet in a phrase, it’d be: the love child of Tamagotchi, Candy Crush and the Sims. It’s an addictive game where you not only have to build worlds, but also care for individual characters. Dubbed Coocoomons, these characters – and their world – are designed to resemble sweet, sugary treats. Upon opening the game up, you’re immediately greeted by a friendly in-game host who guides you through … [read full article]

Reuters: Deutsche Telekom to keep minority stake in T-Mobile if SoftBank deal goes through

Earlier on today, reports broke from Japan stating that Deutsche Telekom had accepted a buyout offer from SoftBank for its majority stake in T-Mobile US. We assumed, as many would have, that any deal would see the Japanese carrier take ownership of DT’s entire controlling stake in the Magenta carrier. Later on, however, another report claims that DT is seeking to retain a minority stake in the … [read full article]

Invites are out, and it’s official. Uncarrier 5.0 is coming in June. T-Mobile today sent out invites to select members of the press to join them in Los Angeles on June 18.
