Bloomberg: Deutsche Telekom open to selling T-Mobile US at $35/share

According to Bloomberg, T-Mobile’s parent company, Deutsche Telekom is open to negotiating a sale of its U.S. carrier, but only if an offer matches or exceeds its $35 per share valuation. T-Mo Galaxy S5 firmware update available

This morning, T-Mobile and Samsung rolled out an OTA update for the Galaxy S5. It’s not a major software update by any means, but it is a firmware update designed to boost performance and reliability. It’s still Android 4.4.2, but with baseband version G900TUVU1BNG4. Update details simply states “Improved performance” for the 87MB download. Pretty vague, and certainly a minor improvement. T-Mobile Music Freedom now includes Grooveshark, Rdio and Songza, Google Play coming “later this year”

T-Mobile today announced that it’s adding 6 new music streaming services to its Music Freedom movement. As part of its Simple Choice plans, customers can stream music as much as they like without it counting against their data allotment. Up to $50 off all T-Mobile iPhones from tomorrow

T-Mobile sent out notices to staff today informing them that iPhone pricing is set to change. From tomorrow, Aug 27, iPhone device only pricing will drop by up to $50. Included in the price drop are all models of the current iPhone range plus any older models stores might still have in stock.
