Guess what Tony Hawk uses to text his friends?

Thats right folks, Tony Hawk uses a Sidekick LX. All you skater-texters rejoice, because this phone is made for you. We don’t have too many details other then it will be Tony Hawk branded, but we’re guessing the housing will be pretty durable to … [read full article]

T-mobile and Sony Ericsson kick it off right

After their long “break,” which they spent seeing other wireless providers, T-mobile and Sony Ericsson have finally rekindled their oh-so-hot relationship. Anyone know what this means? No, not quite romantic candles in all of T-mobile’s corporate stores. But we have the second best thing. The Sony Ericsson Bella will launch on T-mobile’s network on July 12th. Woah, a Saturday? The Curve was launched on a Saturday, but if you remember correctly, that was a fairly messy launch. … [read full article]

Oh, so we have your attention now? Well here is what we know. It seems that there is either one device with two codenames, or two new Sidekick devices coming to T-mobile. There is evidence for an upcoming device called the “SK Gekko” on July 27th, while the “Sidekick Aspen” launches on July 30th. What, you ask, might either of these devices be? Well like we said, we’re still looking for more details. Once these (or this) … [read full article]

3G coming to New York, Miami, and LA first.

After months of apprehensive waiting, T-mobile customers finally saw a spark of real 3G info last week when a list of the first 25 cities to be covered by 3G surfaced. Now, T-mobile and 3G are coming together a little more. The internal site that T-mobile employees have access to has announced an upcoming sale of UMTS handsets in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Although this isn’t an announcement of 3G, we think a … [read full article]

Am I Dreaming?

Andoird + T-mobile

First and foremost, TMoNews has not fully confirmed this. Our lack of commitment and confirmation on this subject may also stemming from our disbelief that T-mobile plans on being leading the wireless industry, an event rarely seen. Other carriers which will remain unnamed seem to follow the business strategy of ‘lead and hope,’ while T-mobile has always seemed to ‘follow and do it right the first time.’ The tables have turned it seems. Coming … [read full article]
