Report: T-Mobile delays CDMA shutdown again

Update: 3/30/2022 2:33 pm: A T-Mobile spokesperson reached out to us regarding this earlier report. According to the spokesperson, they are proceeding with the shutdown on March 31st. But they will be migrating customers in some areas over the next 60 days, which is normal in a network transition process. GTI names T-Mobile as its Market Development Awardee

T-Mobile has just been awarded the Market Development Award from the Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI). T-Mobile will no longer claim it has ‘most reliable 5G’ network

T-Mobile will no longer be using the claim of having the “most reliable 5G” in its advertising. This is after it failed to get the approval of the National Advertising Review Board (NARB).  As reported by Fierce Wireless, T-Mobile said that it will follow the recommendations of the board. T-Mobile launches T-IoT with Deutsche Telekom

Together with Deustche Telekom, T-Mobile unveiled T-IoT as its new solution for global IoT connectivity for enterprises.  According to its press release, “Global IoT connectivity is too complex.” In order to deploy IoT connections across borders, enterprises will need to patch together operator agreements with varying contracts, service level agreements, management interfaces, and customer support. Metro by T-Mobile customers getting Home Internet service soon

T-Mobile is extending its 5G Home Internet service to its Metro by T-Mobile customers.  The T-Mo Report has shared an insider document revealing this new information. According to the document, Metro by T-Mobile has been offering Home Internet service in select locations since February 15th. T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet access is now available in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana

Earlier today, T-Mobile revealed its latest 5G Home Internet expansion across the country. The expansion gives nearly 5 million households access to this service.  Prior to the expansion, over 3 million people in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio only have one choice or no access to traditional home broadband. T-Mobile’s 3rd Super Bowl ad talks about 5G Home Internet

Just before the Big Game took place, T-Mobile launched its third commercial for the occasion. This new video highlights T-Mo’s 5G Home Internet service and features Scrubs’ Zach Braff and Donald Faison. T-Mobile for Business brings internet access to through HCPL Connected

T-Mobile for Business has recently partnered with Harris County Public Library (HCPL) to give residents their much needed online access.  In its press release, T-Mobile revealed that the launch of HCPL Connected in the Houston area is a “community-wide internet connectivity campaign” for residents. HCPL decided to partner with T-Mobile for Business to give 40,000 5G MiFi hotspots with unlimited data using their nationwide 5G network.
