U.S. Senate committee sets date for hearing on T-Mobile-Sprint merger

T-Mobile and Sprint may have struck a merger deal, but the agreement will need regulatory approval before it’s allowed to happen. Part of that process will happen next month. New report helps show where T-Mobile has 600MHz LTE coverage

T-Mobile confirmed earlier this month that its 600MHz (Band 71) LTE coverage is available in 823 cities across 31 states, and a new report wants to help consumers pin down exactly where that coverage is popping up. T-Mobile rolls out low-band LTE upgrades to additional cell sites

Days after rolling out mid-band LTE capacity upgrades, T-Mobile has deployed some low-band upgrades, too. T-Mobile CTO Neville Ray recently confirmed that T-Mo has rolled out low-band LTE to more cell sites to improve coverage.
