Braxton Carter: T-Mobile will be “aggressive in rolling out low-band spectrum next year”

  According to T-Mobile’s CFO, Braxton Carter, the carrier is going to continue its low-band spectrum acquisitions in to next year. Miami becomes 25th T-Mobile wideband LTE market

This morning, T-Mobile announced that the 25th market to receive its faster wideband LTE network is Miami, Florida. Customers in the Ft. Lauderdale and Pompano Beach areas can also now experience the faster download speeds, with some speed tests reaching as high as 75Mbps. San Diego becomes the latest T-Mobile Wideband LTE market

Just a couple of days back, T-Mobile announced that San Diego (or the greater San Diego area) is the latest to have wideband LTE switched on. “In addition to the greater San Diego area, LTE customers in the Carlsbad area are also experiencing super-fast download speeds, making access to their favorite mobile content seem almost instantaneous. NTelos selling its PCS Spectrum in eastern Virginia to T-Mobile

According to a report this morning, nTelos Wireless – a Sprint wholesale partner – is exiting its eastern Virginia markets to prioritize western Virginia and West Virginia.
