FCC finishes first stage of 600MHz auction with $86.4 billion spectrum cost

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the 600MHz spectrum auction, but today a major milestone was hit. The FCC has confirmed that the reverse auction is complete, and that the bidding for the 126MHz of spectrum that was cleared finished at $86.4 billion. T-Mobile customers can call or text Turkey for free following Istanbul attack

Following an attack at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, T-Mobile has announced that it’s making it free for its customers to contact Turkey. From June 28 through July 5, all T-Mobile Simple Choice prepaid and postpaid customers will be able to call and text from the U.S. to Turkey for free.
