T-Mobile Tweets About G-Slate Arrival During iPad 2 Announcement

One of the things I’ve learned in the tech blogging world is when Apple announces a new product, posting non-Apple news just gets lost in the fold. Love or hate Apple, when they announce a new product, they own the news cycle. So why T-Mobile in its infinite wisdom decided to Tweet about the upcoming arrival of the T-Mobile G-Slate during today’s iPad 2 announcement WITHOUT a release date or price is beyond me. I understand … [read full article]

Rumor Alert: Blackberry Playbook, Storm 3 Coming The Magenta Way?

Rumor Alert: This isn’t the first time we’ve heard this rumor but this time I’m a little more confident having heard this intel from our sources and quite a few of them. I’d still take it all with a grain of salt but it’s looking good. In the last few days I’ve had quite a bit of email correspondence with sources old and new regarding Blackberry events being held for retail representatives across the country. In … [read full article]

MobileCity Offers T-Mobile G-Slate Pre-order For $699

Oh those silly online resellers. MobileCity has just put up a holding page for the T-Mobile G-Slate with a price of $699.99. Of course this price is subject to change and this is just a placeholder so it’s possible this could disappear entirely and reappear with a price higher or lower so you can’t say you haven’t been warned. If you needed a reason to break open the piggybank for 3D tablet goodness, I’d say now … [read full article]

Deutsche Telekom Not Interested In Selling T-Mobile, Stop Worrying

There is no question that T-Mobile’s recent quarterly report left us a little concerned and disappointed. We wanted to see an immediate turnaround and yet, like so many things, this company wide turnaround will be more gradual than immediate. Given that, we thought it might be worth posting a quick article to help allay some of the fears people have expressed since that article went up. On February 25th, the Wall Street Journal printed up a … [read full article]

T-Mobile 4G Mobile Hotspot Training Beginning

We’ve been without any news of the upcoming T-Mobile Mifi’s since the beginning of the month but now, thanks to a  trusted tipster we’ve got the goods on T-Mobile looking to start training on these devices. I’m not sure which of the “Wayne” devices we are looking at in this screen grab, but it’s definitely a 4G Mobile Hotspot device and it includes microSDHC support, SMS capability and of course access to T-Mobile’s 4G network. … [read full article]

Just when I thought it was safe to get a good nights sleep, I wake up and see that T-Mobile has effectively killed off the Sidekick line effective May 31, 2011. That’s right, you read that correctly, T-Mobile has sent out an early morning press release informing the media that Danger (a subsidiary of Microsoft these days) will no longer offer data services on Sidekick devices after the aforementioned date. As a reminder Sidekicks are, in … [read full article]

T-Mobile Removing Flexpay Option, Bringing Deposits Back

There is little question that some sweeping changes may come about as T-Mobile begins its company-wide turnaround especially in light of recent quarterly numbers. One of the first steps taken to begin that process is to eliminate Flexpay across the board. It is our understanding that Flexpay never quite took off as T-Mobile hoped and given that, we aren’t surprised that it’s finally being retired. As we stated back in the middle of February, the … [read full article]

T-Mobile Reports Fourth Quarter 2010 Results

T-Mobile reported their fourth quarter results this morning and they are decidedly mixed some good and some bad numbers.
