A quick public service announcement this morning as the HTC One is now available at every single T-Mobile retail store nationwide. After initially rolling out at less than 300 stores across the US, the One inventory is now stable enough to support a nationwide rollout. If you’ve been eager to find the device and have been unable to do so at any of your local T-Mobile company-owned retailers, the time is … [read full article]
A major tip of the cap goes out to Kevin Fitchard over at GigaOM for nailing down this story on T-Mobile’s plan to “supercharge” its LTE network. As Fitchard points out right from the start, T-Mobile’s place as the last national carrier to launch a LTE network provides it with some extra benefits including using the most up-to-date radios on the market. T-Mobile’s keeping silent on most of the details, but Fitchard and GigaOM uncovered some of … [read full article]
A hat tip goes out to the guys at G4Games for first noticing the appearance of a whole bunch of Sony Xperia Z support documents on T-Mobile’s website. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen support documents appear as part of a puzzle piece for unannounced T-Mobile devices. Unfortunately, the documents are still private and require a login to view but it provides yet another piece of evidence that the device … [read full article]
A new month means a new Android distribution chart and that’s exactly what we have for you this morning. Some more good news for Jelly Bean as it continues to scratch at the Gingerbread man as it moves from 28.4% of all Android devices to 33%. For its part, Gingerbread remains the Android software leader at 36.5% but our expectation now has that lead finally changing hands perhaps as soon as next month. That’s a 4.6% … [read full article]

While the OTA software update itself started to roll out yesterday morning, T-Mobile just updated their support documents for software version 1.27.531.8. Originally suspected to help with some of the capacitive button issues HTC One owners had, the official document pertains only to “visual voicemail performance.” That’s not to say that other bug fixes didn’t sneak in but according to all things official, only visual voicemail was affected by this update. Hopefully, the … [read full article]
Please forgive me for this…but you’ve just been pimped by T-Mobile. Now that I got that out-of-the-way, T-Mobile is adding another round of “celebrities” to their marketing staple with this 50 second spot. Xzibit, famous for his rapping but more famous for his host gig on MTV’s Pimp My Car talks about how he made the switch from AT&T to T-Mobile. Really, just watch this video. Actor, Rapper and Producer Xzibit doesn’t have contracts in his … [read full article]

The full list of devices that will qualify on T-Mobile for this promotion: Samsung Galaxy S 4 Samsung Galaxy S 4G Samsung Galaxy S III … [read full article]
An interesting bit of news out of super Twitter tipster @evleaks this morning as he discovers a T-Mobile branded LG Optimus F6 hanging in the wild. I’ve heard that T-Mobile had a LG under testing but assumed it was the LG Optimus F3 based on its internal codename. However, I’m much happier with a branded device hanging around with the “F6” tag in yellow. As for the “NewCo” part of the yellow label, that’s an obvious reference to … [read full article]
