Last Call For T-Mobile’s “$0 Down Summer Sale,” Ends Tomorrow

T-Mobile’s kinda, sorta, maybe “sale” offering $0 down on just about every smartphone in store is coming to close tomorrow. The special offer or “unparalled promotion” as the carrier labeled it allowed both new and existing well-qualified customers to get the latest 4G LTE smartphones, tablets, mobile hotspots and feature phones at the upfront price of $0 down with monthly service payments. Unfortunately, the promotion itself was more of a teaser offering no initial down payment … [read full article]

Sony Entertainment Network And PlayStation Now Accepting Carrier Billing Through T-Mobile

Concerned about using your credit card with the Sony Entertainment Network or the PlayStation store after the company’s recent bout of hacker attacks? Some good news then as they’ve launched carrier billing through T-Mobile (and AT&T but forget about them). Unfortunately you can’t use carrier billing with the PlayStation Vita but I suppose two out of three services is good enough to start. I’m hopeful this new carrier billing feature will extend to PlayStation 4 when it launches … [read full article]

Dear T-Mobile: You’ve Come A Long Way, Don’t Sue Over A Color

As a long time fan of T-Mobile, I’ve supported T-Mobile through thick and thin, acquisition rumors, AT&T buyout attempts and quarter after quarter of disappointing financials. Still, I love the little Magenta carrier that could but another lawsuit over the “Magenta” color just seems both unnecessary and ridiculous. T-Mobile is building up good will right now thanks in [read full article]

Upcoming Alcatel One Touch Appears In The Wild, FCC Docs

T-Mobile and Alcatel haven’t released any details on the “One Touch Fierce” but some FCC docs and some “in the wild” images show clear T-Mobile branding. According to Law360, T-Mobile filed the lawsuit last Friday in a US District Court in Texas. T-Mobile alleges that AT&T launched Aio after T-Mobile unveiled its Simple Choice plans. … [read full article]

T-Mobile Scheduling Employee Blackout Dates For September 20th-22nd?

I do love a good rumor and this one should make all you iPhone fans happy as I’m hearing whispers T-Mobile is planning blackout dates between September 20th and 22nd. Like all good rumors, we should take this with the standard “subject to change” warning but my sources suggest this could be iPhone related. Their confidence is supported by the rumor mill already highlighting September 20th as a potential launch day for the next-generation iPhone … [read full article]

Moto X Review: Motorola’s First Smartphone On T-Mobile In Years

For a long time I’ve wanted to get my hands on an Android smartphone that is the right combination of size and specs. Many might (and will) argue that the Moto X doesn’t hold up on paper to the Galaxy S 4 and HTC One, but in my real-world experience it’s just as good. It remains very unfortunate that, for whatever reason, T-Mobile has decided not to offer, at least initially, the Moto X through their … [read full article]
