I got all excited for a minute there until I read all those hoops you have to jump through. Sometimes they have one-day deals near a holiday that aren’t advertised that are much better than this farce.

Never seen any one day deals. The last time TMobile sent a physical card instead of bill credits was 1/2018. I think the good ole days are gone. All it takes is the people saying no more by closing their wallets but it will never happen.

Who on Earth would ever add a line they don’t need and get bill credits for 2 years? Idiotic. Go to Costco and buy the phone outright and get a gift card 1-1.5 months later, payoff the phone and cancel the useless line. Piss on T-Mobile and their forcing customers to add lines they don’t need to make their numbers look better than they would be without. Don’t fall for this scam. If this is the new norm we were all better off with a contract and cheaper phones.

I haven’t been looking for 1-day sales since my S7 Edge is still going. The last one I remember was around 02/22/2017. I bought 2 new Galaxy S7 Edge’s for $360 each. The S8 was released 2 months later on 04/21/2017. If memory serves, I got a new S6 for half price on 07/03/2016. Both were 24 hours sales. The Note 10 is rumored to be released around Aug-Sept (with a 64 megapixel sensor btw) so the Note 9 would be a logical thing to downsize in the next few weeks.

Last one day sale I heard about too late, forgot when, they had Moto Play, for $300,down from $375. That last one day sale I knew about. then it went back up to $375. Never came down again then Tmo eol it without saying one word. Just like they did with the V30,gone!

Your post got me thinking… It’s almost like T-Mobile fired it’s marketing staff and they went to Xfinity and CharterMobile.

XfinityMobile still has visa gift cards, no-contract rates, and also, it’s on Verizon’s network.

If you think about it, it’s also funny that when T-Mobile stopped having Un-Carrier Events, is about the time XfinityMobile and CharterMobile took off. It’s almost like T-Mobile fired it’s marketing staff and they went to Xfinity and CharterMobile.

        • dcmanryan

I have Xfinity Mobile too and if they had a family plan discount and 50gb of data I’d be long gone from T-Mobile as Verizon is far more reliable in Utah. T-Mobile is good enough for now though.

What a racket. I need to give them my phone just to get a discount.

Don’t me wrong, $300 for the V30 is fantastic!

Just don’t do a deal with Samsung! I sent in a perfect phone and they said that I didn’t factory reset it. I sent them the video with a TMo Rep and still. They promise to get back to me and NEVER DO!

    • Bklynman

I would write a real letter to to the head of USA Samsung, and write a letter to John,by certified mail. That should get u some action. Even if you didn’t factory reset it,they can’t do it? Oh well it take like 3 mins factory reset a phone. Really Samsung! Yes I understand they may get hundreds or thousands phones, every month, but still people makes mistakes, just like Sam did with the Note 7. I would throw at them too in the letter about the Note 7,hope this helps u

Where’s the Deals for the OnePlus 7 pro???

  • Clifton K. Morris

Is it just me or is anyone else a little fed up with how inflated these phone prices have become..?

Increasing the price something up $100 and then offering $100 off just to advertise the discount seems illegal; maybe a tactic that a used car salesman would use.

Can’t fault T-Mobile execs for playing fast and loose with promotional advertising law when the FTC hasn’t enforced the laws since the Nixon administration. After all, without enforcement, those consumer legal protections are probably not even worth the paper they’re printed on.

  • Ummm where is the Galaxy a50??

  • Bklynman

What I find amazing is this,Lg phones do not hold their value once they go eol,u can get the G6,V20,V30, less then $100.00 used in great condition, brand new for depends which one,for $120-$200. bad thing about them.what I read on here is Lg does not support them with any updates, maybe one the most. At least with Samsung they get updates to certain time.

    • Android_God

Yeah, LG isn’t as fast with updates as Samsung and OnePlus. I’m happy with my V30 and LG has said that it will get Android Pie. My 2 years will be up in November so I’ll probably get the OnePlus 7 pro in November.

  • Jim Mill

get a OnePlus 6t or 1 plus 7 pro amazing phones for the money and they run great fast updates
