Stealthily, in the night, Apple decided to press the “launch” button and start offering the new iPad mini with Retina up for sale. We picked it up earlier on TiP, and were a little surprised that there was no press release or anything to go alongside the launch of what could be one of Apple’s best tablets to date. If you’re wanting to get hold of the T-Mobile flavored cellular version, the only way to … [read full article]

What was your first T-Mobile phone?

Most of us tech-heads know which device or technology sparked our interest first. It might have been something you owned as a child or an entirely fictional gadget from Star Trek. For me, the idea of being able to talk to someone miles away on the phone without having any wires connecting you seemed totally impossible. Google Voice now supports MMS sent by T-Mobile subscribers

If there’s one service I’ve been intensely jealous of watching the U.S. mobile scene from the UK, it’s Google Voice. And, although Google hasn’t really been paying much attention to it recently, it’s nice to know the service is becoming more useful to more people. However unintuitive the added new features might seem, they are – at least – something. Last week, Google announced that its Voice service would be adding support for MMS. Essentially, users can … [read full article]
